Channel Mike

Channel Mike is the vehicle for my ideas.

I enjoy spending time researching and analyzing current events, policy, and science. I have strong opinions when I have knowledge about certain topics and evidence to back up those opinions. When that's the case, I enjoy sharing that knowledge and analysis with the world.
The blog section will have my commentary and opinion on things that happen day to day. These will be light on links and footnotes.

The essays are items that I have written about that require research and links to sources of information. These also have a more structured and formal style. They take quite a bit more time, hence the lower number of essays. These essays, however, will be lighter on opinion and heavy with evidence, links, and facts.
