Thursday, July 12th - Salt Lake City, UT to Frisco, CO

We're back on the road again! Thursday was a fairly boring day. We didn't do much fun, but we got out of Salt Lake to head back home. It's time. Our original plan was to leave on Wednesday around 8:00am, but after trying to get things packed, it didn't work out that way. We then tried to leave Thursday around 8:00am, but didn't actually get out of the driveway until around 2:00pm. The car is packed to the ceiling with all of our camping equipment (that we haven't used) and all of the other clothes, toys, electronics, magazines, books, and other detritus that we're packing across the country.

We got to Frisco, CO through Provo, Price, Green River, and Grand Junction by about 11:30pm. I was concerned about driving so late, but it turned out beautifully. Audrey and Emma had both fallen asleep and went right to bed after dragging them up the elevator to our room. They're still sleeping now at 7:52am. It's time to get them breakfast and get back on the road.

If I can get Jak to show the least bit of appreciation or respect this morning, we'll go through Rocky Mountain National Park on Friday. If not, straight through Denver and on to Kansas City. I hope he's nice. I'd like to see the mountains. And I'd like to put up some more pictures for family to see.
